Damchiya old - Indian furniture carved n ° 47

Old Indian Marriage Chest Sculpted in solid wood. Damchiya was the traditional chest containing the dowry that the Indian bride took with her to settle with her husband's. He was made at the request of the family of the future bride, in anticipation of marriage. Each room is therefore unique! This damchiya has small round and rectangular mirrors typical of Gujarat.
