Tea -shaped teapot, without potter's turn.

The use of this black land is typical of the Tangkhul Naga tribe, in the north east of India. They use clay and serpentinitis powder, Roche presents in abundance near the river near their village, which gives pottery this special black color. They thus handle various kitchen utensils, intended for cooking on fire. After cooking, the craftsmen cover the rattan handles, in order to isolate heat.

Each piece is made by hand, and is therefore imperfect and unique. Light variations in shape and size from one room to another are inevitable and make all the charm of the handmade.
