One-of-a-kind pieceAuthentic jar from Burma, designed to store water or other goods using ancestral South-East Asian techniques. The glaze inside and on the upper part stops the clay from absorbing its contents, preventing it from becoming heavier or cracking with changes in climate. The unglazed lower part allows slight natural evaporation, keeping the contents cool for longer. Sourced in India, this jar bears witness to a rich commercial past, illustrating the historic exchanges between Burma and India made possible by thriving land and sea routes. Its history is also marked by British colonial influence, which strengthened the flow of goods and know-how between the two regions.

Careful, reused packaging
Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.
The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.
The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.
