These terracotta pots come from the Izmir region, Turkey. Made by hand, they were used to preserve olives, oil and other foodstuffs. Each piece is unique, due to its color, patterns and patina, perfected over the years. Marks and imperfections are witness to its history and years of use. The timeless beauty of this pottery will fit into any interior, from the most traditional to the most contemporary. Age: over 150 years old.

Use: interior and exterior. However, we recommend that you respect certain precautions for outdoor use (do not let water stagnate inside, shelter the pot if possible in winter, etc.)

In the event of negative temperatures outside, please take the usual precautions, the ideal remaining to move the jar to a shelter, or at least to place the jar on wooden boards so to let air circulate and avoid direct contact with frozen ground.

The jars are shipped via carrier specialized to your home (mainland France and Corsica). The larger ones are shipped in a wooden crate. Contact us for more information.
