Our favorite hunting grounds are located off the beaten track: dusty basement, old warehouses or even local antique dealers. We specialize in Indian and Turkish pieces, and like to tell the story of these objects. Several times a year, we explore these countries in order to learn and document the uses of each room. We believe that an interior is enriched by the objects and furniture it houses; And that a unique piece to the old soul has all the more value since it carries the marks of its experience.

We are Alicia and Ankush, the founders of Orpai. Together, we founded Orpai in 2021, a project that embodies our common vision: offering a sharp selection of authentic furniture and objects, where each piece tells a story. Orpai is also our history to us: the meeting between India and France. Today, we are traveling the world in search of the most beautiful discoveries, carefully selecting each piece of furniture, each jar, each object to give life to singular interiors and impetus of soul.
