Art photographs
Series of photographs with immersive scenography, images and portraits where the human remains the center of gravity in noisy and stunning street conditions.
It was necessary, attentive in these urban hubs, to photograph the attitude, to catch the subject in his moment before he captures me in turn. Sometimes, it will be enough for a look, a tacit agreement, a positive vibration so that the other gives me in image the very essence of his soul. At this moment photographing becomes a visual thought, I am allowed to see what others do not see. Despite the state of poverty, dirt, harshness, these portraits emerge a form of dignity and almost mystical resignation. None smiles, none is sad, culture is above all an India in survival where beyond their mystical philosophy, the principle of reality lets little emotion pass. Everywhere the air coagulates in this state of dereliction, of an agglutinated crowd and gathered in one whole.
This first series of photographs details the Indian social landscape, itself absorbed by the notions of cultural identity and to live in community. The photo is post-trayed in contrast to give a hyper-texture to detail, an impression of almost palpable materials through the image. Practice of a photo-graphic visual art sometimes on the border of drawing. Supervise the street, read these faces ... The image suspended or deposited somewhere, in a humanitarian reading, or as a simple reminder to the symbolic order of what we are to each other, expressly linked and attached to the survival of humanity.
