Artisan-madeThis console was made from a heavy old Indian door. The front is part of the door leaf, while the frame has been reused to make the legs.
The bleached wood colour of the console contrasts with the rusted iron details and highlights the star pattern of the original door. The small metal plate visible on the right of the console has been kept; it is typical of Indian doors and bears the address or name of the owner, from the time when the door still served as a front door. The door frame was beautifully adorned with deep chequered carvings, which now decorate the legs of this console.
The reasonable size of this console means it will fit into most interiors.
Its signs of wear bear witness to its past life as the door of a real house somewhere in India. They make this console a one-of-a-kind piece.
This piece of furniture was made from old, even very old, wooden architectural elements. It therefore has irregularities.

Careful, reused packaging
Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.
The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.
The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.
