One-of-a-kind pieceThis old rain cape, handwoven from palm fibres, was traditionally worn by farmers and fishermen in southern China to protect themselves from heavy rain while staying well ventilated. Rustic and deeply organic in its making, it embodies the simplicity and ingenuity of utility clothing of its time.
Its loose, airy, almost sculptural silhouette makes it today a rare and striking piece to display as a wall decoration or to hang in a wabi-sabi, ethnic or raw-style space.
Styling tip: Hang it as a raw textile work to add character to an entrance, a hallway or a meditation space. The cape is rigid, so it can be hung from a standard fixing (hook, nail) with a fine wire threaded through the mesh of the fibres. Hanging fixture not included.

Careful, reused packaging
Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.
The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.
The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.
