Moorti - Large totem n ° 2

These totems were at the origin of the cleats, used under construction to solidify the angles between the wall and the ceiling in particular. They are found in many architectural styles. In India, they are traditionally nicely worked, and reused as decorative elements. Here this sculpted cup has been bleach to reveal this light, almost white color of wood.
