Samatra - Tie & Dye woolen wool and wild silk

Traditional scarf woven on the profession in Gujarat.

The chain is made of merino wool while the frame is in tassar silk, called wild silk. The tie & dye is made from natural dye, here indigo. The scarf is hand -tinted three times. The pompoms are made by craftsmanships from a neighboring village.
