One-of-a-kind piece
Description

This impressive copper jar comes from India and was very probably used in a ritual setting or in a temple, given its imposing size and weight. Entirely shaped by hand from solid copper, it has a rounded body, a narrow neck and a flared rim, a traditional form intended to hold sacred water (jal), ghee or offerings, or even to cook meals for worshippers.

Its surface displays a rich old patina, the result of many years of use and devotion. The faint hammer marks and natural irregularities reflect the craftsmanship of its maker, while the darkened sheen underlines its age and authenticity.

  • Dimensions: H 50cm x Ø 65cm
  • Material(s): Copper
  • Origin: India
  • Period: early 20th century

Careful, reused packaging

Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.

The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

step 01

collection by the carrier

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.

The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.

step 02

notification from the carrier

You will then receive an e-mail from us with delivery tracking, in the form of a link to the carrier's tracking page.
