One-of-a-kind pieceThis old basket made of woven plant fibres, originating from China, was used daily by rural communities, both for the rice harvest and for fishing. Its deep cylindrical shape and sturdy arched handle made it easy to carry goods.
Entirely handmade, it features a tight, regular weave and a handle made of willow. The variations in shade, the soft patina and the signs of use bear witness to its history and give the piece a raw authenticity dear to the wabi-sabi aesthetic.
Today, this basket finds its natural place as a decorative object: plant pot cover, storage for textiles, firewood or accessories, or simply set down as a sculptural piece. It brings an organic, sober and timeless presence to an ethnic-inspired or minimalist interior.

Careful, reused packaging
Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.
The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.
The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.
