One-of-a-kind pieceOld glazed stoneware jar, hand-thrown in the rural workshops of northern China, probably in Shanxi or Hebei province. Its generous belly, short neck and small shoulder lugs mark it as a type of storage vessel common in the Chinese countryside in the 19th and early 20th centuries, used to keep rice wine, vinegar or oil. Its dense brown-black glaze, with slightly iridescent highlights, reflects skilfully controlled high-temperature firing. The marks of time, chips and surface variations, are part of its character. A sober, sturdy object, to be displayed like a sculpture in a contemporary interior or an ethnographic collection.

Careful, reused packaging
Your parcel is prepared in our warehouse in France. As most of our pieces are one of a kind, the packaging has to be made to measure, which takes a little longer than for standard products. The item is protected and packed in a cardboard box for the safest possible shipping.
The little extra? We reuse packaging as much as possible to reduce our impact on the planet.

Once your order has been prepared, the carrier chosen at checkout is notified and your parcel is collected the next working day.
The carriers we use most often are Chronopost, Colissimo or UPS for home deliveries. For pickup point deliveries, we offer the Mondial Relay and Chrono Shop2Shop networks.
